To provide a pigment ink set preferably used for particularly an inkjet recording system having excellent color developing property relative to various recording media (regular paper, mat paper, glossy paper, printing paper or the like), capable of particularly obtaining an image having excellent glossy feeling and excellent glossiness uniformity relative to the recording media having glossiness, and having high reliability in preservability of an ink and clogging, a recording method using this, and a recorded matter.
The ink set contains a dark ink composition and a light ink composition mutually having the same color but different concentration of color. The ink set is characterized in that any of the dark ink composition and the light ink composition contains a coloring agent covered by a water-insoluble polymer as a coloring material. The ink set, the recording method using this, and the recorded matter are provided.
