PURPOSE: To always hold a suitable ink film thickness matching to a printing speed by distributing ink by at least one regulating roller, reducing a temperature rise of the ink at the time of regulating the film thickness, holding the suitable film thickness for a long period and independently regulating ink supply and throttling amounts from an ink fountain.

CONSTITUTION: An ink fountain unit 8 having an ink fountain 6 and an ink fountain roller 7, at least one regulating roller 9 and an ink distributing roller unit 12 are sequentially opposed at a downstream side from an opposed part to a plate cylinder 3 in a rotating direction around a form roller 4 in rotatable contact with the cylinder 3, and the fountain roller and the roller 9 are respectively coupled to independent drivers.
