Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ink supply device configured to stir ink, which can automatically supply ink accurately.SOLUTION: The ink supply device comprises ink supply means 21 for supplying ink to an ink pot 3 of a printer and ink amount detection means 22 for detecting liquid level of ink in the ink pot 3, which further comprises stirring means 12, position detection means 19 and a control device 17. The stirring means 12 is configured to be movable in the ink pot 3 and stirs ink stored in the ink pot 3. The position detection means 19 detects a position of the stirring means 12. The control device 17 controls the ink supply means 21 on the basis of detected results by the position detection means 19 and the ink amount detection means 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
