Abstract:
To provide a device and a method each of which enables ejection amount of liquid droplets ejected through each ejection port of a nozzle part provided with a number of ejection ports to be accurately calculated in a short time.SOLUTION: An inkjet application device 1 is provided that comprises a nozzle part 2, an inspection surface 3 and a relative movement part 4, and has a nozzle inspection mode in which a condition of an ejection port h for ejecting liquid droplets are ejected is inspected, the inkjet application device 1 further comprises a light source 5, an interference color image imaging part 6, a film thickness measurement part 7 and a control part 9. In the nozzle inspection mode, a plurality of liquid droplets L are ejected at a predetermined interval through each of ejection ports of the nozzle part while moving the relative movement part in a direction orthogonal to a first direction, thereby forming a liquid droplet aggregate in which the plurality of liquid droplets made to land on an inspection surface overlap with one another, the interference color image capturing part is made to image an interference color image of the liquid droplet aggregate; and the film thickness measurement part is made to measure a film thickness distribution of the liquid droplet aggregate on the basis of the interference color image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
