Abstract:

To provide an image forming method by which both cockle and image void can be suppressed when an image is formed on a recording medium by an inkjet method and high-speed printing can be performed.

The image forming method for applying an ink composition, which contains pigment, a water-soluble polymerizable compound and water and in which content of the water-soluble polymerizable compound is 15 to 30 mass%, onto the recording medium in a range satisfying a specific numerical formula is used.
