To provide an inkjet recording apparatus which can accurately and surely support an inkjet head, and which can shorten a distance between a frame and an ink ejection surface.
A head body 1a, which includes a channel unit, is fixed to one surface of a reservoir unit 70. Both longitudinal ends of a laminated structure 79, which is composed of plates 71 and 73, a damper sheet 72 and the thickest plate 74, included in the reservoir unit 70, are protruded to the outside of the head body 1a, and through-holes 55 and 56 are formed near both the protruded ends. The laminated structure 79 is fixed to the frame 3 via the through-holes 55 and 56 in such a manner that one, near to the head body 1a, of two surfaces of the fourth plate 74, that is, the surface near to the head body 1a and the surface far from the head body 1a, is positioned nearer to the frame 3 than to the surface far from the head body 1a. This makes the inkjet head 1 supported on the frame 3.
