Title:
INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0752377
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus having a contact part detachable from a carriage which records by transmitting an electric signal from an end part of a flexible flat cable to an input part of an ink cartridge directly.

CONSTITUTION: The apparatus has a carriage which reciprocates while detachably loading an ink cartridge 2 for discharging/recording an ink. An input part 3 for an electric signal is formed in the ink cartridge 2, and a flexible flat cable(FFC) 5 is provided in the ink cartridge 2 to transmit the electric signal. Moreover, a fixed plate 9 is set in the carriage 1 at the side of the input part 3, along with a holding plate 8 for letting the fixed plate 9 hold the FFC 5. A hole 10 is opened in the holding plate 8 at a position confronting a pattern 4 of the input part 3. The fixed plate 9 has a projection 11 which exposes an end part 13 of the FFC 5 from the hole 10. The fixed plate 9 is made detachable from the carriage.
