Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device and an imaging adjustment method that can read an image formed on a recording medium easily and more accurately.SOLUTION: An ink jet recording device comprising recording means that ejects ink from a nozzle to perform recording operation on a recording medium P comprises optical mechanisms 304-306 that form an image within an imaging target range at a set focal position, a detection unit 308 that detects the image within the imaging target range through the optical mechanisms, and an image formation adjustment driving unit 32 and adjustment mechanism 307 that move at least a portion of an optical mechanism and a detection unit in a direction along an optical axis of the optical mechanism, and that perform an image formation adjustment operation which change at least one of a detection position and a focal position by the detection unit, and comprises an image reading unit 30 that images a surface of the recording medium P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
