To provide an inkjet recording device, capable of solving inconvenience that different recording devices need be prepared for recording to sheet mediums and recording to plate members in accordance with their kinds.
This inkjet recording device is provided with a record medium carrying means comprising a frame provided to be selectively positioned right under a moving path of an ink jet head, and a carrying belt stretched along a drive pulley and a driven pulley disposed to face each other on the frame. In case of recording the record medium other than the sheet medium, the record medium carrying means is positioned right under the moving path of the inkjet head, and the drive pulley is rotation-driven to carry the record medium placed on the carrying belt in a sub-scanning direction for recording.
