The inkjet recording medium includes: a supporting body; a first ink receiving layer provided at the surface of the supporting body, and containing at least two kinds of inorganic particles and a resin, and in which the inorganic particles include first inorganic particles with a fine pore diameter of ≥200 nm and second inorganic particles with a volume average particle diameter of ≤200 nm, and the content rate of the first inorganic particles exceeds 50 mass% in the total amount of the inorganic particles; and a second ink receiving layer provided at the surface of the first ink receiving layer, and containing vapor phase process silica and a water-soluble resin.
