Abstract:
To provide an inkjet recording medium without causing surface defects such as pits and removal defect, and is manufactured by casting.
The inkjet recording medium includes at least one ink receiving layer disposed on a gas-permeable support, and is manufactured by casting of the uppermost ink receiving layer by using a rewetting liquid. In the inkjet recording medium, the rewetting liquid contains a water retention improving agent.
