Abstract:
To provide an inkjet recording method and an inkjet recording apparatus which are improved in the color bleeding resistance, particularly the outline character quality of an image formed on a recording medium, particularly on a low-absorptive or non-absorptive recording medium, in a two-liquid type inkjet recording method.SOLUTION: In an inkjet recording method according to the present invention, ink containing at least a coloring material and a processing liquid containing at least a coagulant are each applied to a recording medium surface by droplet discharging means and are coalesced, thereby forming an image. The processing liquid is applied to an image forming area where the image is formed and the peripheral area of the image forming area, and the application amount of the processing liquid to be applied to the peripheral area of the image forming area is controlled so as to be the same as the application amount of the processing liquid at the end part of the image forming area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
