Abstract:
PURPOSE: To secure sufficient strength of an inlet union of a tandem master cylinder by arranging the gate of a forming metallic mold in the place of a cavity equivalent to a plate part of connecting together the central parts of respective ribs and injecting a resin material from this gate into the cavity so as to form the plate part, rib part and a tubular part in one body.
CONSTITUTION: In an inlet union, the gate G of a forming metallic mold is arranged in the center of a plate part equivalent place 27 by using a forming metallic mold having a cavity 24 such as the plate part equivalent place 27, a rib equivalent place 26, a tubular part equivalent place 25 and a hook part equivalent place 29, etc. Firstly, a resin material is injected into the inside of the cavity 24 from the gate G. The injected resin material flows in respective rib equivalent places 26a, 26b and 26c via the plate part equivalent place 27 as shown by arrow marks and further flows into the tubular part equivalent place 25 and the hook part equivalent place 29. Therefore, collision of resin material flow may not take place in the central part of both side rib equivalent places 26a, 26c so that the inlet union of sufficient strength an be manufactured.
