Abstract:
To provide an inlet valve capable of restricting the hydraulic loss of a hydraulic machine by rectifying the flow around a stay vane by matching the inflow angle of water from a casing to the stay vane to the inlet angle of the stay vane.SOLUTION: A biplane valve 10B comprises: a main plate 21 for closing the water flowing through the inside of a cylindrical valve body; a sub plate 22 disposed to oppose the main plate 21; and a valve body 20 for integrally rotating the main plate 21 and the sub plate 22 around the valve stem extending orthogonal direction to the central axis of the valve body within the valve body. In which, a pair of surfaces 21A and 21B facing each other in the thickness direction of the main plate 21; and a pair of surfaces 22A and 22B facing each other in the thickness direction of the sub plate 22 are curved when viewed in a cross-section perpendicular to the valve stem. When arranged on the upstream of the hydraulic machine and in a fully opened state, the curved surface is convex on the side away from the casing 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
