Title:
INORGANIC-POLYMER BONDED MAGNET AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02123703
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an inorganic-polymer bonded magnet characterized by excellent heat resistance by forming the magnet of magnetic powder and a specified inorganic-polymer resin.

CONSTITUTION: Magnetic powder and an inorganic-polymer resin are mixed, compressed, molded and hardened, and a polymer bonded magnet is formed. Here, silicone ladder polymer expressed by the expression I is used as the inorganic-polymer resin. The mixing ratio between the magnetic powder and the polymer resin is made to be 80-99:20-1 in weight. The silicone ladder polymer has high heat resistance in comparison with the organic polymer and can be used continuously at 300°C or higher in general. Magnetic material that can be obtained in a powder state can be used for the magnetic powder. For example, as hard magnetic materials, barium ferrite, neodymium, iron, boron and the like can be listed; and as soft magnetic materials, manganese zinc ferrite, permalloy and the like can be listed. Thus, the bonded type magnet characterized by excellent heat resistance can be obtained.
