Abstract:
To accurately remove an ionic contaminant such as an inorganic substance contained in a sample.SOLUTION: An inorganic substance removal method that removes an inorganic substance 320 changing to an ion of second polarity in a solvent from a sample solution 300 containing an organic substance 310 having functional groups of first polarity and the second polarity and the inorganic substance 320, includes: a preparation step S10 of preparing the sample solution 300 and an ion exchange resin 40 of the second polarity having properties that are bonded with the ion of second polarity; a pH adjustment step S20 of adjusting pH of the sample solution 300 to pH that is a value higher than an isoelectric point of the organic substance 310; a separation step S30 of applying a voltage to the sample solution 300 whose pH is adjusted in the pH adjustment step S20, allowing the inorganic substance 320 changed to the ion of the second polarity to migrate, and thereby separating the organic substance 310 and the inorganic substance 320; and an adsorption step S40 of adsorbing the migrating inorganic substance 320 with the ion exchange resin 40 of the second polarity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
