The input device is provided with a touch panel 100 for detecting contact within a predetermined region on a substrate, and generating an input signal; and a radio communications unit 200 for transmitting a radio wave corresponding to the input signal generated by the touch panel 100 and to an input signal inputted from an external apparatus 300, and receiving radio waves corresponding to an external signal from the outside. The radio communications unit 200 has an antenna unit 201 arranged on the external edge of the predetermined region.
