To provide an input device having a joystick knob excellent in operability in longitudinal and horizontal directions.

In the input device having the joystick knob 2 which is operated in the longitudinal and horizontal directions, the joystick knob has finger hook parts 31, 32 receiving a control force from a finger of a user, and the finger hook parts 31, 32 are moved forward and backward between a projected state and a retreated state. The joystick knob has a projection streak part 20 extended in the longitudinal direction so as to receive the control force in the horizontal direction from the finger of the user, and bottom parts 21, 22 formed right and left of the projection streak and extended in the longitudinal direction. The finger hook parts are respectively disposed to the bottom parts 21, 22 of the joystick knob, and are projected in a height direction of the projection streak part through opening parts 22a formed in the bottom parts to be in the projected state.
