PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of locating information input to a sheet from data stored in storage means in a short time.SOLUTION: An input device includes: a sheet light guide W in which a plurality of linear cores 2 is formed arranged into grids on a surface of a sheet under cladding layer 1 and an over cladding layer 3 is formed into a sheet in a state of covering these cores 2; a light-emitting element 4 connected to one face of the cores 2 of this light guide W; a light-receiving element 5 connected to the other end face of the cores 2; and storage means storing therein information input to an input area. The input device includes management information recognition means for recognizing a management number input to a part of a specific area A, which is set in a part of the input area, as management information for managing a memo input to a part of the input area other than the specific area A. The management number and the memo are stored, as a set, in the storage means. Owing to this, the memo can be located in a short time from the storage means with the management number used as a clue.
