Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an input device wherein input content is indicated by the rotation position of a handle and the rotation of the handle is restricted so as not to exceed a prescribed range. Provided is an input device, comprising: a handle which is rotationally operated; a rotation axle body which rotates together with the handle; a rotation control means which is capable of allowing or prohibiting the rotation of the handle; a detection device which detects the rotation position of the rotation axle body; a storage unit in which is stored a number of positions for the rotation operation of the handle; and a control unit which, when the handle is rotationally operated such that the rotation position which is detected by the detection device exceeds the range of the number of positions, controls the rotation control means such that the rotation about the rotation axle body is prohibited.
