PURPOSE: To three-dimensionally execute the detection and to enlarge the degree of freedom of operation by providing an index member which a moving body to be inspected has, a detecting means for detecting the index member, and a display means for displaying an index member position detected from the detecting means, and displaying plural index member positions as a cursor on the display means.

CONSTITUTION: Sensors 13a, 13b catch and detect plural pointing devices 12 being for instance, handled by a person or had on his finger, or are attached to his clothes of a moving body 11 to be inspected who is looking at the screen of a CRT 5 in front of a display means 22, together with a person's motion, and display a position of the pointing device 12 as a cursor 30 on the screen of the CRT 5. That is, by a fact that a person moves the pointing device 12, while looking at a cursor position, it is utilized as the cursor 30 such as a sound is generated simultaneously, etc. In such a way, the operation range is enlarged, and that which has a large degree of freedom of operation can be obtained.
