Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a high-performance, economical input-output crossing type power transmission which facilitates adjustment of contact between cone rollers and that of pressing forces.
CONSTITUTION: In an input-output crossing type power transmission in which the center line of one cone roller crosses that of the other cone roller at one point and torque is transferred as the cone rollers are pressed into contact with each other at their outer peripheries, a coaxial taper center hole which gets smaller in diameter in the direction of the crossing point is formed in the center of the cone roller 1, and a wedge taper cone 2 having the same taper as the taper center hole is inserted coaxially and movably into the taper center hole.
