To provide an inputting device in which the outer dimension of an operating portion is made large and a dedicated area of a guide portion is made small, while operability is improved.
The inputting device includes a base 2, a first operating member 3 which is arranged capable of rotation operation on the base 2 and includes an opening portion 16 in the center, a second operating member 4 which is arranged capable of pushing operation in the opening portion 16 of the first operating member 3, a detection member 5 which is arranged on the base 2 and includes a first detection part 33 to detect rotation of the first operating member 3 and a second detection part 31 to detect pushing in of the second operating member 4, and an intermediate member 6 which is arranged on the base 2 and includes a first holding part 44 to hold capable of rotation operation of the first operating part 3 and a second holding part 34 to hold capable of pushing the second operating member 4. The second operating member 4 includes an operating part 26 located in the opening portion 16 of the first operating part 3 and an axle portion 27 having a smaller cross-section than the exposed surface area of the operating part 26. The second holding part 34 of the intermediate member 6 guides the axle portion 27 of the second operating part 4 in the axial direction.
