To provide an insect controlling system which eliminates insects invaded into a controlling area, from the controlling area by attracting, without attracting insects in the outside of the controlling area.
This system is composed of a plurality of lightings 1 on the ceilings of a building 20 and eaves ceilings of an entrance 21. Each lighting 1 is set to have ≤26% of maximum spectroscopic energy in the wave length of 300-410 nm to the maximum spectroscopic energy in the wave length of ≥410 nm by installing a cylindrical short wave length light cut filter on a linear type fluorescent lamp. An insect attracting device 2 which has a light emitting section and an adhesive type insect catching section for attracting insects, is installed inside of the building 20 on a position close to a front glass window 22, wherein the light axis of the light emitting section for insect attracting is set to face the interior of the building 20.
