Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insecticide which can confirm the disappearance of insecticidal component by observing the change of color tone with eye and use it for a long period of time by simultaneously using a hardly volatile desensitizer and an easily volatile desensitizer and formulating them in a specific proportion based on the insecticidal component.
SOLUTION: This insecticide is composed of a developer, an electron donative color organic compound and a desensitizer and contains a hardly volatile desensitizer and an easily volatile desensitizer. The hardly volatile desensitizer and the easily volatile desensitizer are formulated in proportions of 8-40 pts.wt. and 10-100 pts.wt., respectively, based on 100 pts.wt. of the volatile insecticidal component. As the easily volatile desensitizer, glycol ethers such as diethylene glycol monohexyl ether and the like are illustrated. As the slightly volatile desensitizer, triethylene glycol monobutyl ether and the like are illustrated. By changing the proportion of the desensitizers formulated, the confirmable time can be regulated to establish at a desired period of time.
