Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leakage of a resin injected into the empty chamber of a mold and to make a base member hold a contact surely.
SOLUTION: An insert-molded article comprises a metal insert member 1 having the contact and the synthetic resin base member 2 holding the insert member 1. A light bulb holder 3a having the contact is equipped with a belt-shaped burial member 31 buried in the plate-shaped base member 2. The burial member 31 has a plate member 311 which is buried in parallel with the base member 2 to make its inner surface coincide with the inner surface 21a of a bottom part 21 constituting the base member 2 and semi-cylindrical bend members 312a and 312b which are set in parallel in the end rim part of the plate member 311 to be buried in the base member 2. In the end rim parts of the bend members 312a and 312b, belt-shaped flat members 33a and 33b are set in parallel to cross the plate member 311 rectangularly. From the flat members 33a and 33b to be the exposed part of the insert member 1, the elastic pieces 34a and 34b of the end rim part are fitted to a cavity insert.
