Abstract:
To provide an insert molded component or the like that suppresses erosion of resin burrs on the side surface of a metal piece and easily obtains good connection by soldering.SOLUTION: In an insert molding method, a resin material is filled in a molding space partitioned by a first mold and a second mold, and a component in which a part of a metal piece is embedded in a resin case is molded. The insert molding method includes a recess forming step S2 of forming a recess recessed from the side surface on the side surface of the metal piece, a loading step S3 of loading a metal piece into the first mold such that the recess is located outside the molding space, a mold closing step S4 of moving the first mold or the second mold in the in-plane direction of the side surface, and sandwiching the metal piece between the first mold and the second mold, and a molding process S5 of filling the molding space closed by the first mold and the second mold with a resin material and cures the resin to mold the resin case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
