Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an inserting method into an aluminum casting without eroding an aluminum pipe, etc.
CONSTITUTION: After setting the aluminum pipe 3, etc., formed with an aluminum alloy spreading material having higher m.p. than that of the aluminum alloy base metal into a metallic mold 1, the molten aluminum alloy base metal is poured into the metallic mold 1 and aluminum pipe 3, etc., is inserted into a casting composed of the aluminum alloy base metal. The molten metal temp. just after pouring the molten metal into the metallic mold 1 is set at a lower temp. than the m.p. of the aluminum alloy spreading material.
