To manufacture at low cost a joint connector making connection of a bus bar with a wire by insulation displacement.

The insulation displacement joint connector 1 is provided with a plurality of wire holders 10 fixing and holding a plurality of wires 80, a housing 20 equipped with a holder mounting part 21 mounting the wire holders, and a bus bar 30 fitted to the housing 20. The bus bar 30 is equipped with an insulation displacement contact terminal part 33 for inserting the wires 80 into a slit 34 for insulation displacement contact with the holder mounting part 21, and the wire holder 10 is provided with a mounting side opening 12a at the holder mounting part 21 side for insulation displacing the wires 80 to the insulation displacement terminal part 33. Since the wire 80 and the bus bar 30 are connected only by mounting the wire holder 10 with the mounting side opening 12a facing toward the holder mounting part 21, conventional connecting terminals are disused to enable to manufacture a joint connector at low cost.
