Abstract:
To provide a cover cap which is hardly dropped from a hole.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a cover cap 10A integrally formed from low-density polyethylene while including: a base part 11 having an outer diameter R1 substantially equal with or slightly smaller than a diameter R of a hole 2; a flange part 12 being provided in one end of the base part and having an outer diameter R2 sufficiently larger than the hole diameter R; and a pair of leg parts 13 and 13 being provided in the other end of the base part, formed to be spread as getting separate from the base part, and opposed to each other. In a normal state the pair of leg parts is formed in such a manner that lower ends thereof have an opening width W1 which is sufficiently larger than a handlebar hole diameter R, but when external force acts thereon, they are deformable in a closing direction at least until the opening width becomes substantially equal with the handlebar hole diameter R. Further, a pair of projections 15 and 15 of which a cross section is formed into a semicircular shape, is formed oppositely on an inner surface of a substantial center of the leg part in a length direction, such that the cover cap is surely prevented from being dropped by bringing the leg parts accommodated in the hole into press-contact with an inner surface of the hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
