Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth-retaining wall that can enlarge an excavation depth more than a conventional self-supporting earth-retaining wall by generating resistant moment by using sediment weight on the rear side and that has advantages such as having economic efficiency and preventing the extension of the construction period.SOLUTION: An insertion pile type earth-retaining wall comprises soldier beams 2,2 arranged at prescribed intervals in the horizontal direction and having a lower half part inserted into the foundation, horizontal sheathing 3,3 installed along the vertical direction between adjoining soldier beams, and an insertion pile 4 that is installed from the side part position of the soldier beam 2 to the foundation on the rear side in an insertion state and that has an insertion original side rigidly connected to the soldier beam 2. The insertion piles 4 are installed in multiple stages in the height direction, and between adjoining insertion piles in the vertical direction the insertion pile 4 located on the relatively lower side has a longer insertion length than the insertion pile 4 located on the relatively upper side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
