Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily cope with size change of a using card ticket in relation to an insertion type lock for the card ticket capable of locking or releasing a locker or the like using a card such as a commutation ticket or a ticket such as an admission ticket instead of a coin.
SOLUTION: This insertion type lock 20 for the card ticket has an inserting part for receiving the card ticket and can be locked or released by inserting the card ticket into the inserting part. The lock comprises a shape detecting means that comprises a width direction detecting means 30 and a depth direction detecting means 29 and detects the size of the card ticket, a locking/releasing means that engages with the width direction detecting means and the depth direction detecting means of the shape detecting means and can lock or release a key only when both engagements are cancelled, and the lock 23 engaging with the locking/releasing means.
