To provide an insole (shoe insole) which build up one's physique by the exercise of standing on tiptoe safely at ease at all times in a daily life and is effective for preventing a metabolic syndrome and massaging the heel on the sole.

In the insole for metabolic syndrome, a bottom member (1) and an external member (3) which is a flexible material are fixed, and an obstacle piece (2) is provided on the center part of the external member (3). Since it is tiring to raise the heel of the foot continuously for a long period of time and is a hard exercise for a person whose muscles are not developed or a person with the metabolic syndrome, the insole is imparted a cushion property by using a sponge material for the time of stepping down the heel, and by fixing the obstacle piece (2) of a spherical body to the center of the heel, the heel raising exercise is performed so as to feel the incompatibility of "softness" and "hardness" in contact and stepping. Also, the insole which demonstrates an effect in the massage even when the heel is put down and enables walking very safely at ease is provided.
