Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a means capable of more directly and simply inspecting whether the heat fusion strength between pipes and a joint after heat fusion is sufficient or not at the site.
CONSTITUTION: Pipes P1, P2 on both sides of a pipe fusion joint are fixed after heat fusion, and the external thrusting force to peel the heat fusion portion set to a value lower than the peeling force in the normal heat fusion state is applied to the coupling section 1 of a joint. The change of the relative relation between the coupling 1 and the pipes P1, P2 before and after the external force is applied is checked, and the quality of the heat fusion state is judged based on the result.
