To provide an inspection apparatus which can detect a defective work piece without fail with improved inspection accuracy.
A signal to inform whether spot welding on a plurality of parts is in success or not is input into the inspection apparatus 1 from a spot welder 60. According to the input signal, success of the spot welding is judged. Then, when the spot-welded work piece is placed on a weighing scale 40, a signal to inform whether the weight of the work piece is proper or not is input into the inspection apparatus 1 from the scale 40. After the spot welding on the plurality of parts is judged to be successful, whether the weight of the work is proper or not is judged based on the signal input from the scale 40. Accordingly, whether the spot welding on the work is successful or not, or whether an improper parts is mistakenly spot-welded or not, can be inspected. Thus, by improving inspection accuracy, a defective work piece can be detected at the site without fail.
