PURPOSE: To inspect the internal surface of the small-diameter tube remotely and automatically by a visual test and an eddy current flaw detection test by fitting a small-sized television camera and an eddy current flaw detection coil to the same flaw detection head and thus constituting an integrated flaw detection head, and arranging the eddy current flaw detection coil in the visual field of the camera.
CONSTITUTION: The small-sized television camera 6 and eddy current flaw detection coil 7 are fitted to the same flaw detection head 8. The flaw detection head 8 inspects the internal surface of a neutron flux detector housing 3 by the visual test and eddy current flaw detection test at the same time. Further, the flaw detection head 8 is coupled with a driving device 10 through a rod 9 and the driving device 10 is controlled by a controller 12 to inspect the internal surface of the neutron flux detector housing 8 remotely and automatically. Further, a position signal is inputted from the controller 12 to an eddy current flaw detection recording device 15 connected to an eddy current flaw detector 14 to generate eddy current flaw detection records including inspection position information.
