Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device and an inspection method which prevent omission of inspecting defects of sheets as much as possible.SOLUTION: An inspection device includes: a conveyer 5 for conveying sheets 3; a light source 7 for projecting light on the conveyed sheets 3; a camera 9 for imaging sheet surfaces of the sheets 3; and inspection means for inspecting defects of the sheets 3 on the basis of image data of the imaged sheet surfaces. Thus, the defects on the whole of each of the sheets 3 can be inspected because the inspection of the defects is performed on the basis of the image data of the imaged sheet surfaces, so that the omission of the inspection is prevented as much as possible.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
