To achieve high-speed processing when inspecting printing quality including flare correction.SOLUTION: An inspection device for inspecting printing quality of a printed matter on the basis of print data by a read image of a printing surface includes: reference image acquisition means for acquiring the read image as an image to be inspected and acquiring an image obtained by ripping the print data as a reference image; calculation means for calculating a flare reverse correction value on the basis of flare generated when forming the image to be inspected from the reference image; corrected reference image acquisition means for performing the flare reverse correction to the reference image on the basis of the flare reverse correction value and acquiring the reference image after correction; and inspection means for inspecting by comparing the corrected reference image with the image to be inspected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
