Abstract:
To solve a problem that inspection cannot be performed on a blank page with no printing data or corresponding reference image.SOLUTION: An inspection system is configured by connecting at least an inspection apparatus and a printer so as to communicate with each other, the printer including: printing means (100) for printing an image on a recording sheet; and generation means (216) for generating a scan image by reading a printed matter printed on the recording sheet by the printing means. The inspection apparatus includes: registration means (S503) for registering a reference image; and inspection means (S704) for inspecting the printed matter on the basis of the scan image and the reference image corresponding to the scan image. The inspection means is configured to inspect a scan image of a blank page for which a corresponding reference image has not been registered on the registration means, using reference data (S506).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
