Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the thickness, width, color or the like of a glass panel to be accurately and efficiently inspected with advantage for a facility.
CONSTITUTION: A color sensor 5 for inspecting the color of a rectangular glass panel 1 is embedded and fixed in positioning attachments 3a and 3b to clamp the panel 1 in the breadthwise direction thereof for positioning. Also, a proximity sensor 6 for inspecting the thickness of the glass panel 1 is fixed to other positioning attachments 4a and 4b to clamp the panel 1 in the thicknesswise direction thereof. Each of the attachments 3a, 3b, 4a and 4b is used to position the glass panel 1 at the prescribed position, while the glass panel 1 is inspected directly or indirectly with the color sensor 5 and proximity sensor 6.
