Abstract:
To provide an inspection support system and an inspection support method, capable of more appropriately supporting inspection at a remote place.SOLUTION: An inspection support system 1 comprises: an on-site device 6 including an unmanned mobile body 10; and a remote place device 7 including a virtual reality device 20. The unmanned mobile body 10 comprises: a driving mechanism 11; a virtual reality camera 12 for capturing an inspection site 2; a microphone 13 for collecting sounds of the inspection site 2; an arm 14; and a control unit 16 for controlling the driving mechanism 11 to move the unmanned mobile body 10 and controlling the arm 14 to operate an inspection target device 5. The virtual reality device 20 comprises: a display processing unit 82 for displaying an image of the inspection site 2 in a display unit 22 according to a direction of an inspector 4 so that the inspector 4 can visually recognize the image on the basis of information on the image acquired by the virtual reality camera 12; and a sound output processing unit 83 for outputting sounds at the inspection site 2 from a speaker 23 on the basis of information on the sounds collected by the microphone 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
