To provide an inspection system for optical fibers capable of accurately and quickly inspecting a plurality of optical fibers constituting an optical cable.
This inspection system for optical fibers can inspect the states of the plurality of optical fibers 2, 2 constituting the optical cable 1, and is configured by providing: a light emitting means 11 for emitting an inspection beam into each optical fiber 2 from its one end side; a beam reception detection means 21 for receiving and detecting the inspection beam at the other end side of the optical fiber 2; a communication means 30 for performing communication between the emitting means 11 and the detection means 21 so as to make the optical fiber into which the inspection beam is emitted coincide with the optical fiber from which the inspection beam is detected; and a recording means 22 for recording the result of the reception and detection of the inspection beam.
