This installation device 10 of the on-vehicle camera is provided for installing the on-vehicle camera 6 on the inside of a windshield for photographing the front of a vehicle via the windshield 3 of the vehicle 1, and includes a tapered plate 11 as a support plate arranged along the windshield 3. The tapered plate 11 is fixed in a one end first fixing part 12 to a front rail 2 positioned around the windshield 3, and is fixed in the other end second fixing part 13 to the windshield 3 via a mirror base 4, the on-vehicle camera 6 is supported by a stay 7, and a fixing part 8 of the stay 7 is installed in and fixed to a third fixing part 14 formed in the middle of the tapered plate 11.
