Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of a cylindrical giant structure without requiring any exclusive work area (construction yard) to be ensured in a construction field as well as equipment for preventing wind and rain.
SOLUTION: A hanging balance function roof body 10 is used, and it is installed to the upper end of a reactor housing vessel 42 manufactured in a plant 40. Under such a state, the reactor housing vessel 42 is conveyed to an installation site, and in the installation site, the reactor housing vessel 42 is lifted with a crane 60 through the hanging balance function roof body 10 to install the reactor housing vessel 42 to an installation position.
