To secure strength of a surface plate of a stile by firmly incorporating a shock absorbing mechanism body with an excellent appearance into a butt end cutout part of cutting out a part of vertical core materials constituting the stile in a door of a flush structure.
The stile 1 of the door of the flush structure is composed of a pair of vertical core materials 1a erected by sandwiching a hollow part 1b and the surface plate covering both surfaces of the respective vertical core materials 1a and the hollow part 1b. The butt end cutout part 3 is formed by cutting out an end part of the vertical core materials 1a by leaving the surface plate 1c. A butt end cover material 4 covering the butt end cover material 4 is provided with a machine screw hole 4a fastened to the butt end cutout part 3 by a machine screw, a surface plate reinforcing piece 4b for supporting an inside surface part 1d of the surface plate 1c opposed to the butt end cutout part 3 from the inside, and an opening part 4c for storing and holding the shock absorbing mechanism body 5a for absorbing a shock when closing the door by straddling the hollow part 1b between the vertical core materials 1a from the butt end cutout part 3.
