To provide an installation type information terminal system performing communication with a server via a public network such as the Internet for interactively offering various information to a user.

The installation type information terminal system is provided with a database for storing public information and an advertisement image, a server reading the public information and the advertisement image stored in the database according to a previously set time schedule and transmitting them via the Internet, and a plurality of installation type information terminals for receiving the public information and the advertisement image from the server via the Internet. When a broadcast signal is transmitted from a broadcasting station via a radio transmission path, the advertisement image is displayed along with a television broadcast image on a monitor so that the advertisement image can float along a previously set path on the broadcast image.
