Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate maintenance of an oil pump by forming an oil pan chamber having an opening part on one end of the crank shaft direction, on an oil pan main body installed on a lower surface of a cylinder block, and installing the oil pump in the oil pan chamber through the opening part.
SOLUTION: In an oil pan in which a plurality of bearing cap parts 4B1 to 4B5 are integratedly formed with each other, its oil pan main body 41 is fixed to a lower surface of a cylinder block by a connecting bolt. An opening part 24 is arranged on one end surface of the crank shaft direction, and is the same surface as one end surface of the cylinder block, and a transmission case is fixed to its surface through a packing by a plurality of connecting bolt. An installing seat 70 of an oil pump Op is integratedly formed on a bottom wall 20 of a side near the opening part 24 of the oil pan main body 41, and an oil pump Op inserted from the opening part 24 into the oil pan chamber Co is integratedly installed on its installing part by a fixing bolt 74.
