To provide a device that can hold a cover plate for a gutter in a stable and safe condition and allow short, safe and easy installation, uninstallation and transportation of the cover plate.

The installing, uninstalling and transporting device for a cover plate for a gutter comprises a frame 4 arranged at the lower end of an operating arm 2, cover plate holding means 13 provided in the front of the frame 4, and a right-left pair of wheels 12 provided at the rear of the frame 4. The cover plate holding means 13 include a right-left pair of vertically movable pressure elements 14 adapted to abut the top of a cover plate, and a hook part 16 located forwardly and downwardly of both pressure elements 14 in a sandwiched relation with its point extended backward, and adapted to engage with the undersurface of the cover plate.
