PURPOSE: To provide an instantaneous cooling device which is so constituted as to reduce size and a cost and generate cold air immediately when a power source switch is turned ON.
CONSTITUTION: An instantaneous cooling device comprises a housing 10 provided with intake ports 11 and supply openings 12 and having an internal space 13 through which the intake ports are communicated with the supply openings, a porous substance 20 having through-holes 20a which are opened to the intake port side and supply opening sides and through which air passes, a water feeding means 22 to feed water to the porous substance, a blowing means 15 to blow out air, sucked through the suction ports, through the supply openings, and a power source switch to effect ON and OFF operation of the blowing means.
