Title:
INSTEP COVER ORNAMENTING METHOD FOR SHOES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03158102
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent occurrence of bubbles on the ornament surface even if it is subjected to a curing process, after the instep of a shoe has been ornamented by an ornament sheet, by using such a sheet in which air holes are provided on the sheet surface at least on one side of a thermoplastic synthetic resin transparent sheet.

CONSTITUTION: Air holes 13 are provided so as to penetrate an ornament sheet 10. Accordingly, the air remained in the laminated layers of a thermoplastic synthetic resin base sheet 11 constituting the ornament sheet 10, a metallic layer 10a, and a thermoplastic synthetic resin transparent sheet 12 forming an ornament surface expands by the pressure difference due to the curing process, and the expanded air is released to the outside so as to prevent the occurrence of bubbles in the metallic layer 10a and on the ornament surface of the ornament sheet 10, or on the thermoplastic synthetic resin transparent sheet 12. The ornament sheet 10 thus constituted is adhered on the instep cover 20 of a sport shoe A (not shown) in a prescribed shape by the simultaneous operation of both the packaging due to high-frequency deposition and cutting, so that the instep cover of the shoe can be ornamented. Thus, the occurrence of bubbles on the ornament surface of the instep cover of the shoe can be prevented even if it is subjected to a curing process, after the instep cover of the shoe has been ornamented by an ornament sheet.
